Solar Analysis Study
This project showcases the use of advanced solar analysis techniques to evaluate sunlight exposure on architectural elements through algorithmic tools. The study focuses on analyzing a floor slab's sunlight hours in two key scenarios: December 21 and June 21, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
The analysis delivers detailed insights into sunlight exposure patterns, visualized through floor plans, reflected sunlight exposure maps, and comprehensive diagrams. These tools facilitate precise calculations and visualizations of solar performance, empowering informed decision-making for optimized design.
Additionally, the sunlight exposure was assessed for the entire floor slabs and the building’s facade, providing a comprehensive understanding of the structure's environmental interaction. By leveraging parametric design tools, the project demonstrates the efficiency and accuracy of algorithmic workflows in enhancing environmental performance, reducing energy consumption, and improving user comfort.
This study reflects SHP Architects' dedication to sustainable and innovative architectural solutions that merge cutting-edge technology with design excellence.
